How to use Team Finder | Guide

Save Your Roster

Team Finder only becomes useful after the roster is saved. The saved roster is what we use to find the best possible teams for you.

Team Finder will start in the Owned Roster panel by default.
Use the Characters tab to select every character you can use, then set each selected character from C0 to C6.
Use the Weapons tab to select owned weapons, then set each selected weapon from R1 to R5.
Click Save Roster. If you are signed in, the roster is saved to your account. If you are not signed in, it is saved in your browser only. But to ensure that your data isn't lost, it is highly recommended that you sign in!

Unsaved roster changes disable cycle selection and block Find Teams until you save again.
1-3 star weapons default to owned at R5. Only unowned low-rarity weapons or changed low-rarity refinements need special handling.
Quick Add: type shorthand like C0R1 Mavuika, C2 Mona R5 TTDS, or R5 Fav Sword instead of scrolling through the full roster.
Filters: Turning off weapon types, rarities, or elements helps you focus on the missing part of your roster.

Choose Difficulty And Cycle

Team Finder results are tied to both difficulty and the Stygian version. Dire and Fearless have separate data, and every version has its own boss set (the exception is rerun bosses, those will be combined)

Use the difficulty button/dropdown to switch between Dire and Fearless.
Select Version only after saving your roster. If the selector is locked, hover or press it to see whether the issue is a missing roster or unsaved changes.
Changing difficulty or version changes the active result. Rerun Find Teams whenever you want a fresh personalized lineup for that exact context.

Read Best Clears

Best Clears appears after you choose a version but before you run a personalized search. It is a public-data preview, not a check against your roster.

Best Clears is built from published clear data to form the best no-overlap lineup for the selected version and difficulty.
The clears prefers lower total cost first, then lower total time, so it is a good place to study the current low-cost benchmark.
Each card still shows boss, cost, time, required characters, required weapons, and direct link.
If Best Clears is unavailable, it means the database doesn't have enough data yet and will be updated soon. You can still try Find Teams if Deep Search data exists.

Run Deep Search

Find Teams runs Deep Search against your saved roster. It filters clears by owned characters, checks constellations and weapons, then tries to pick a lineup that covers the full boss set without repeating characters.

A Clean Clear means every selected team matches your saved character, constellation, weapon, and refinement data, and no character is reused across bosses.
If a full no-overlap lineup cannot be found, Team Finder still shows the best available lineup it found and highlights character overlap or other issues.
A No Match card means your saved roster has no matching team for that boss, or matching teams exist but none could fit the selected lineup. Usually this means your roster is too small.
Results are saved in your browser for the same roster, difficulty, and version and will be refreshed if you click Find Teams again. Changing roster data means you should save and run Find Teams again.

Read Result Cards

Green cards represent Clean Clears that your account can replicate without any issues.
Yellow warning icons mean the clear is close but has an issue such as a missing weapon, lower refinement, lower constellation, or overlap.
Red cards mean no usable match was selected for that boss.
The Cost, Time, and Link row tells you the recorded clear cost, recorded clear time, and whether a clear link is available. YouTube and Bilibili links use their own icons.
Character cards show the required constellation, required weapon, and required refinement from the source clear. Hover or focus warning icons for the exact mismatch.
The Character Overlap warning section lists repeated characters and the bosses they appear in. Treat any overlap as something to fix before using the lineup as a clean plan.
Show Alternatives expands extra teams for that boss. The compact alternatives focus on different first-slot DPS options, so they are useful when your selected team isn't your preferred choice for the boss.

Best Practices

Enter your real constellation and refinement values. Overstating investment makes Team Finder recommend clears you cannot actually reproduce.
Add common support weapons, not only signature weapons. Many valid Stygian clears depend on support weapons like Favonius, TTDS, or other utility weapons.
Team Finder tells you what was recorded, but if you manage to clear with something we didn't suggest then please submit the run to help us improve our recommendations!

Limitations

Team Finder is not a damage simulator. It searches published clear data and prepared results. If a team has never been recorded in the data, Team Finder cannot recommend it, but please submit if you have managed to clear.
A clean result means the recorded requirements match your saved roster and no selected character overlaps. It does not guarantee that your artifacts, rotations, ping, or execution will match the submitted clear.
If data is unavailable, wait for the Team Finder data to be updated or try another version.

Troubleshooting

Version is disabled: save your roster first, or save again after editing characters or weapons.
Find Teams is disabled: choose a version, wait for your roster to finish loading, and make sure there are no unsaved roster changes.
No Match appears: add missing characters or weapons, improve the saved constellation/refinement values if they are wrong, or check alternatives and the other difficulty.
Warning icons appear: read the tooltip before using the team. The lineup may be usable after a weapon swap, refinement adjustment, or manual replacement from Alternatives.
Your saved roster looks wrong after signing in: the browser may have loaded account-synced data. Edit the roster, save it again, and wait for the Saved confirmation.
