Battle-Hardened Pioneer Secret Source Control Array: Will of the Hive

• At the start of battle, the boss will put up shield equal to 100% max HP and deploy 4 drones. While shielded, the resistance to all elements except Cryo and Electro increases to 135%, and it begins charging for 45 seconds.
• Superconduct and Stellar Superconduct damage deal 150% increased damage to the shield, while also reducing the shield by 4% HP.
• Destroying each drone also reduces the shield by 12.5%. When the shield is broken, the enemy takes backlash damage equal to 100% of the damage received while shielded, up to 40% of its max HP. The boss then becomes paralyzed for 13 seconds, during which all resistances drop to -40%. After 25–35 seconds, it activates the shield again.
• Each drone has a 12U Hydro shield. When the drone takes Superconduct, Stellar Superconduct, Shatter, or Melt damage, it is destroyed immediately. If the boss absorbs the drone, it gains a Hydro shield based on the number absorbed: 12 + 6 × drone
• While the force-field energy shield exists, the battle takes place in a low-gravity environment. This greatly increases the character’s jumping speed. The enemy also repeatedly uses rapid movement skills to avoid melee attacks.

Suppression Field: Energy Cycler
When combat begins, the Battle-Hardened Pioneer Secret Source Control Array will deploy 4 detection devices protected by Hydro Wards, constructing a special Suppression Field that will create a Force Shield for the Nemesis and increase all its RES except for Cryo and Electro RES. When the field has been active for some time, the Nemesis will unleash Alpha Strike, dealing AoE DMG over a massive area and retrieving all detection devices. It will then deploy a Hydro Ward whose absorption is based on the number of devices retrieved.
Force Shield
Due to the Ley Line disturbance, the Nemesis' Suppression Field will fail when the Force Shield is broken, causing the Nemesis to take one instance of massive rebound DMG and enter a state of paralysis. Additionally, each time the Nemesis takes Superconduct and Stellar-Conduct Reaction DMG, it will lose a fixed amount of Force Shield. When this Shield is active, the amounts of Stellar-Conduct Reaction, Cryo, and Electro DMG it absorbs will further increase the rebound DMG the Nemesis will take when the Shield is broken.
Detection Device: Pressurized Component
Detection devices will be destroyed when their Hydro Ward is broken or if they are Frozen and then affected by Shatter, Melt, or other Elemental Reaction DMG. Due to the Ley Line disturbance, the Nemesis' Shield will be damaged for every detection device that is destroyed.

Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares gathers Abyssal energy to create an extremely durable protective shield. Lunar Reaction DMG is more effective at destroying this shield. When the powerful opponent deploys a shield, the first time the shield takes Lunar reaction DMG, it generates an additional Elemental Orb. When the shield is destroyed, the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares takes a single instance of immense DMG and temporarily enters a weakened state.
Rift Assault
Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares will enter a lengthy charging state and summon multiple Fishers of Hidden Depths. Once it has fully charged, it will deal DMG over a large AoE and devour all Fishers. Defeat Fishers before this happens to destroy the Shield and interrupt the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares' charging.

• The boss immediately puts up a shield equaling to 200% of its max HP. It can also be broken by accumulating Countermeasure progress
• While the shield is active, the boss has 110% all resistance. After the shield is broken, it loses HP equal to 50% of the total damage received while shielded, up to 50% of its max HP.
• The boss naturally gains 1% progress per second. When a character enters the Nightsoul state, progress immediately increases by 2.5%. While Nightsoul is active, progress additionally increases by 1.5% per second. Nightsoul states from off-field party members also count.
• When the enemy’s progress reaches full, it changes state. The first time it changes state, it permanently loses its shield and resistance-increase effects.
• After the shield is removed, the enemy puts up 2 pillars. You must climb to the top and attack it from there. Doing this interrupts the boss' charge attack, causing it to immediately lose 15% HP and become paralyzed for 15 seconds. During this time, all resistances drop to -30%.

Adaptive Countermeasures: Cold Start
When the battle begins, the Nemesis will gain much higher All Elemental and Physical RES. When a character enters and maintains the Nightsoul's Blessing state, the Nemesis will accumulate progress toward Adaptive Countermeasures. Due to the Ley Line disorder, after the Nemesis finishes accumulating Adaptive Countermeasures for the first time, it will lose all of the RES it gained at the start of the battle.
Boltsphere Cannon: High-Pressure Pumps
After Adaptive Countermeasures progress fills up, the Nemesis will activate Accretion Mechanisms and excavate 2 blocks of solid Phlogiston before absorbing energy from within them to charge the Boltsphere Cannon. The Accretion Mechanisms will generate force fields to protect themselves. You must climb up solid Phlogiston to get inside the force fields to destroy them. After all the Accretion Mechanisms are destroyed, Boltsphere Cannon charging will be interrupted, while the Nemesis will get paralyzed and simultaneously take massive rebound DMG. Due to the Ley Line disorder, Adaptive Countermeasures will accrue progress as time passes, but the threshold required to activate Boltsphere Cannon will be higher.
